On-Line Cultural Emergence Taster Course

A great place to start your journey is with the Cultural Emergence Taster Course. Participants learn from the on-line video tutorials and materials created by Looby. This course gives an overview of regenerative cultures and has some practical activities to get you started on your Cultural Emergence Learning  Journey.

Online - Activating Cultural Emergence (ACE) Course

Looby would love to welcome those new to and already experienced in Cultural Emergence to join this nurturing learning opportunity. After a 2 year break the Online ACE course returns

The ACE course centers on the challenge & awaken phase of the toolkit. During the ACE course we look at the many levels of culture, right through from our own personal culture and patterns of being, to the global context.

Looby will guide you through the Design Web, in these Design Adventures courses. There are 3 self paced ones - Design your week Ahead and Design Your Year Ahead and the 3rd Refresh your Home which you can join any time and is accompanied by live calls in Autumn 2025

In the 3 course you will come away with a design, have explored how to design for that topic and will be able to do more designs for yourself with the Design Web.

Cultural Emergence Gathering

25 - 27 July 2025

Join us for tour annual Cultural Emergence Gathering and connect with others on their journey. This gathering is a wonderful opportunity to connect with Looby Macnamara author of Cultural Emergence and others on their Cultural Emergence pathways.

This is a wonderful chance to gather in community before the end of the summer and celebrate our learning harvests of the year. We will have a chance to reflect on our individual journeys with Cultural Emergence as well as the collective movement that is growing. From this we will do some visioning and designing for our individual and collective next steps.

This gathering is open to anyone who has attended any of the Cultural Emergence course modules, ACE, CEED or PEACE, online or in person. This gathering is also to connect people who have been reading and learning Cultural Emergence. Advanced Design Adventure

19 -21 September 2025

Deepen your applied understanding of design frameworks, tools and principles from Cultural Emergence & Permaculture. Build momentum and activate a design for something in your life that you are passionate about. Designed to boost anyone’s design practice, the course is also a golden key for anyone practicing post-PDC permaculture, doing a Diploma or teaching any subject. 

This uniquely creative design weekend is the first ever UK teaching appearance of Visionary Permaculture facilitator Delvin Solkinson from Canada collaborating with Looby Macnamara.
